Gambel's Quail

Full Day

For those serious about maximizing your experience, and your species count, we recommend a full day. On a full day, we can visit wetlands, desert, canyons, urban parks, and the mountains. In spring and fall, green spaces around the city can be teeming with migrants and the occasional vagrant. By visiting a combination of diverse habitats, it’s possible to see over one hundred species in a day. Most full days will include time spent in the city, as well as a retreat to Mountain Charleston in the afternoon. Ask about visiting areas south of Las Vegas for the localized Gilded Flicker, Curve-billed Thrasher, and Scott’s Oriole.
